POLL: Where’s your favorite place to get jewelry?
I work in a small locally owned jewelry store. I’m pretty much in charge of inventory and what we carry. My boss was speaking with another store we network with about an unrelated issue, and they happened to mention that ever since they introduced Pandora Jewelry, they can’t keep it in stock and we should try it. So naturally, I’m in charge of finding out how popular it is, since we carry nothing like it (we mostly carry estate/antique jewelry, pearls and bridal and do a lot of custom work). The store that mentioned it was selling well is in Vermont, we are in Arizona, so Im not sure of the difference in east coat vs west coast clients. We would be the only store in town that carries it.
-would you buy the Pandora bead bracelets?
-if so, why or why not?
-what part of the country are you in?

We do have another company that offers a similar style, but are much less than Pandora. They are not a well known brand, but look essentially the same and offer them in sterling and 14k gold and cost about 30% less. Would this possibly be a better option, keeping price point in mind over brand recognition?

Yes I would, I own one & so do all of my friends, they go with everything, & now they’ve brought out the leather one which is even more wearable. They last for ages in good condition, & there’s so much choice of beads to choose from!

1. After they pierce it, how badly did it hurt for you? Did you have a lot of after-pain?
2. Does the area really get swollen? How long does it take before it swells down?
3. How long until I can change jewelry?

1. the day after hurt the most for me because i had to move it around a lot.
2.my got a tiny bit swollen, but i just held ice to it and it was gone in just over an hour.
3. i waited 4 months.
but make sure to clean it ALL the time.
4. make sure you go to a clean place.
my friend went to one that wasn’t the nicest and got it done,
and hers got really infected.
if it cost more to go to a cleaner place who cares.
in the end, it will be better.

Poll: What should I name a boutique where I sell jewelry, and other cutesy girl gifts?
i’m not gonna ask if it hurts because i’m sure it does but i need to know if a stud or hoop is better for healing,how long it swells,how much will it swell? which size is the standard size?( idk how to phrase this…is a 16 or 12 gauge the average size most people get?), what kind of foods should i eat the first few days of getting it pierced, when can i change the jewelry? when its time to switch to a smaller size(cuz i hear they give you a bigger size so that your lip has room to swell) can i change it myself or should i go to the place i had it done and let them change it for me? also any other advice you would like me to know? thank you!

It hurts, but not much. It really is just a little pinch.
It doesn’t matter what ring you use for healing. A stud would probably be less bothersome, however.
Standard size for most piercings is 16g, but they can pierce it up to a 6g at most if you’d like. (Ow.)
You can eat pretty much anything. Cold stuff would be best.
You can change the jewelry whenever, BUT it’s recommended to wait until it’s FULLY healed, which should really only be about a month.
You can change it for yourself, lip piercings are really, really simple. Just make sure you don’t lose the hole.
I have my septum pierced, and snakebites. Getting top viperbites soon, and getting rid of my snakebites. I’m not for tattoos, though. I do not regret any of my piercings. Infact, I’m in love with all of them.

My gf’s birthday is coming and I’m deciding on a gift. My budget is about $700. I knew she have been wanting a LV bag. I checked their site and it seems I have some bags within my budget although it’s not their top of the line models.
On the other hand, I also knew she collects 24k gold jewerly as assests. If you are familiar with Asian culture, you’ll realize Asians collect gold as a way to built wealth. Plus, it is easily liqudated if she ever needs money. She might sometimes wear the jewelry as well. I believe a 24k gold bracelet or necklace would cost me my entire budget.
Help me decide here ladies. Which would you prefer?

BUT
if they werent sure what jewlry I would LOVE I would prefer bath body set, because pretty much all of that stuff smells good and I will def. get use out of it everyone uses lotion and shower gel dailly!!so its a sure winer!(cucumber melon is the best
